Business refers to a process of conducting commercial transactions between two or more individuals or organizations for profit or in order to generate revenue. In earlier days, people used to trade within the city, later people starred trading with neighboring cities and then slowly moved on to trading within country. Now trade and commerce and grown international.

Businesses are going global. Earlier people would pay in kind. i.e they followed the barter system. Slowly currency was invented and people started paying in on the spot cash. Now with the evolution of plastic money things have become simpler. The growing dot com industry complements the business world in more than one way. Thanks to the World Wide Web consumers are able to buy the items of their choice in minutes without stepping out of their houses. The ecommerce and online shopping is a boon to many.

One need not waste petrol in traveling to malls, then try finding the right outfit and the right size and then stand in the line to settle of your bill. Instead people can now just log on to the website of that particular brand, browse through various styles available, select the color and the size of the outfit. Mention the quantity and add the item to the cart. Once you have finished selecting the items, you can pay using your credit card online or you can pay via your debit card or internet banking. The products will be delivered at your door step in 3-7 days. Isn’t it simple?

Consumers can now benefit from various international brands thanks to reduced duties on imported goods. It is amazing to see the way the business world has evolved.

Formation Of Societies In Ancient India

Man is a social animal. He loves to live in group and interact with people. Man cannot survive a solitary confinement. In pre-historic days, primitive man used to hunt in groups. This fact of being in group was that they felt stronger against the animals and the animals would not attack them. This feeling of security led to creation of society. Society can be defined as a place where the humans live together and are bound by certain rules and the norms laid down by the society. Over a period of time the societies evolved. In historic days societies were formed on basis of one’s occupation. These societies were guild based societies.

People pursuing the same occupation came together and helped each other to prosper. They decided who could trade within the society; a new comer had to get an approval from merchant guilds before being able to start selling of his goods. However with the changing times, the way the societies functioned also changed. Children were forced to follow the same occupation as that of their parents. This led to different sections in the society. Now the society became based on the caste system. There were four different castes in ancient India. The Brahmins, the Kshatriyas, The vaishyas and the Shudras. Brahmins were the learned group of people.

They would live their lives by performing different spiritual ceremonies for the well being of people. Brahmins were the most respected people in the society and were considered to be more knowledgeable. The next in the order were the Kshatriyas or the warriors. These were the individuals from the royal family and the people who served in the royal armed forces. Kshatriyas were the born warriors and their responsibility was to protect the citizens and the society. Third in the order were the vaishyas or the merchant class. These individuals made their living by trading. This class was supposed to be wealthy class. The last category was Shudras or the downtrodden that lived by doing odd jobs in societies. Society evolved further and changed the norms completely.

When you first step into your bathroom, you may have some urgent and important business to attend to. And there is nothing wrong with taking care of things in their unique individual order of importance. But once your “business” is taken care of, you have to keep in mind that the room itself is important. How you keep your bathroom says a lot of things about you. For one very important thing, what you keep in your bathroom is a big part of how people form an impression of how you are as a person. Your personality is something that your bathroom will express, no matter how you restrain yourself in the other rooms of your home.

And there are some very important bathroom accessories that you will need to keep in your bathroom, in order to make it uniquely your own domain. For one thing, what kinds of towel holders do you have up right now? If you do not have any, that is a serious problem that will need rectifying in a hurry. What do you expect people to do, bring towels in there with them, or wipe their hands on the legs of their pants after they (hopefully) wash them?

Another thing that is definitely important to keep in your bathroom is a set of toilet care tools. Your toilet is generally a silent and obedient work horse that does what only a very well paid servant or a very scared slave would do. However, when it gets dirty, it sends some terrible messages about what kind of a person you are. And aside from that, it can be a serious health issue after a while of being grotty. And keeping it clean is just one part of the maintenance you need to make sure is done. Without a plunger, you could be up a certain kind of creek, without a paddle.

Designing An Ad Campaign

Advertisement and media industry are booming these days. Fresh talent across the world comes to media and entertainment industries to try their luck. With the businesses going global, there is tough competition between various brands to capture the consumer market. There is no doubt that products that are advertised better, sell more. People recollect the advertisement when they see the product on the shelf. These advertisements are for not more than few seconds but there is a lot of effort and ground work in the process of exhibiting those ten seconds to the customers effectively.

Designing an ad campaign isn’t easy, it involves several things. First and foremost one needs to do enough of industry research to know about the brand, the niche market of the brand, the target audience, the competitors and the USP of the brand. Once the ad consultant is aware of this information, he or she would need to analyze the information and come up with an appealing way to showcase the brand. One person cannot manage this alone. There comes the role of creative team. Creative team will come up with different story boards for the ad commercials; the panel will choose the best story board. The story board contains a jingle or a short skit about the product and its features. Many ad makers also include the impact of the product on customers. Coming up with a good sign off line for the product is challenging.

People tend to remember the signoff lines easily hence it is important that your copy writing and your creative team comes up with something interesting that will hit your audience instantly. Once the story board and sign off line are finalized, creative team moves to inviting fresh faces or known celebrities for auditions. It is important that your ad film is endorsed by a good looking model that fits the bill. Post production, the ad film is previewed and edited to add aesthetic effect. Post this the media co-ordination team will tie up with television channels to feature the ad during a particular time slot.

Norms Of The Society

Society refers to a group or a guild of individuals living together independently. These individuals are bound together by common thoughts, cultures and traditions. How many times have you heard your parents say that “this behavior is unacceptable in society?” We are dominated by the norms of the society. These norms have been laid down ages ago and haven’t changed. The question here is why we still adhere to these norms. Times have changed and the norms have become stagnant. There needs to be a revolution against these norms.

Like in ancient days women were not supposed to be the part of major discussions, probably this has led to the evolution of alpha males. Women are often referred to as fairer sex, why not something else? Women have been looked upon as characters that are incapable of protecting themselves or earning for themselves, however this does not hold true in today’s world. Women have evolved as champions and survivors. You can see the women jetting offices, parties, daily responsibilities etc. they are super efficient with everything that they do. Isn’t it time that the norms of the society changed for a women.

Like the olden days, now children are not following their parent’s occupation. Then the norms need to be relaxed for the different castes. However one needs to understand that these norms define the society that we live in. when these norms were created, they were designed in a way to suit the requirements of the society existing in those eras. Women were asked to be within the confines of four walls as they needed to take care of their children and the elderly parents when men were out on battle fields or were traversing the seas to trade with different countries.

Many youngsters have started defying the rules and the norms of the society. The simplest example would be to see the changes in their dressing styles. They have become funkier and depict the punk attitude. We need to reconsider the norms and start changing them or the youth will defy them.

Putting Mothers First

Childbirth and expectant mothers are one of the many points of interest in world health care and political referendums. There are at least 200 million women worldwide that would love to be able to use contraceptives but do not have the proper care to be able to access them. According to experts, if this were possible then deaths by childbirth could decrease by 30% or more. Not only that but deaths of newborn babies would lessen by approximately 20% ore more. There is more than just contraceptive care to think about. Millions need postnatal care, newborn care, child health care and help on safe childbirth as well as immunization needs.

There is recent proof that there has been progress made with the health care of expecting mothers and that countries that do not have access to the care that wealthy countries may have are having a big impact on decision makers that are involved with economics. Maternal health care is an investment that has to be a top priority.

There are many challenges when it comes to fiscal economics that these countries have to make and there are many trade-offs but most feel that these cannot be made at the expense of expectant mothers, children and women who need access to contraceptives and health care. This is an investment that is important to allow these countries to be more powerful and have healthier families so that the long term rewards will pay off financially as well as morally.

There have however, been very successful strides in third world countries that have focused on making health care for women a priority and their numbers have increased and decreased in the right direction. It will take much more work and financial responsibility to keep these numbers in the right direction in other countries as well.

The Unlawful Lawmaker Cliché

One of the largest clichés of the modern political era is that of the political leader who does not lead by example. These seemingly successful, accomplished people work hard in their lives to reach the pinnacle of accomplishment–being voted into office by the populace. It is from there that their seemingly impeccable records seem to get smeared completely. Whether it’s a sex scandal or a case of bribery, or making false statements on record about their involvement with, or use of, drugs, politicians have long lost their leadership credentials. Even the cleanest of the clean seem to eventually be found to be dirty. It’s gotten to the point that the average citizen is wondering if lawmakers actually desire to research bankruptcy laws.

Because, after the press conference in which they confess to the nation their criminal deeds, often without a hint of remorse, these criminals lose a lot. They lose their immediate career, and the income associated with the job they’ve worked so hard to land. They often lose their spouse, who may attempt to stick with them for a while, but all too often, falls by the wayside as the rationalizations begin to arise. Justifying one’s bad behavior is never a good way to present it to the spouse who has been shamed, embarrassed, and whose trust is often in pieces following the national coverage of their partner’s crimes.

Besides losing their jobs and spouses, politicians found to have engaged in unlawful activity lose reputation. The entire premise of lawmakers being in existence is that they are supposed to possess moral compasses that are more precise than usual. They are supposed to know the laws inside and out. They are supposed to follow those laws, not pretend that they are only for those lowly citizens who earn a more meager income. Leadership needs to be by example again!

What Politics Are Shaping Your Community?

Politics within the community can dictate a number of dynamics within your environment that affect you, your family, and everyone else within the area.

How are politics shaping your community? Are you aware of negative dynamics that need to be addressed within the community politically?

It is unfortunate to see so many citizens of communities around the country and the world without awareness, in some form. Some are not aware of negative influences, while others are but do not choose to follow and/or participate with them.

Ignorance is one thing, and it is very dangerous to take this route.

Ignorance allows such dynamics to have a major role in your life and the lives of loved ones, as well as fellow citizens. In order to gain awareness, make an effort to follow such issues that can be molded by citizens such as yourself.

Choosing not to get involved is also very unfortunate. Whether one is too busy, unable to see relevance in regards to one’s personal life, or for one who does not care, such reasons add to the negative magnitude of politics in some communities.

Yet becoming involved in politics doesn’t require a major commitment. As all people get busy from time to time, and even when one is not that busy, following politics and making a difference can be done reasonably.

Relevance is always, well, relevant. It would be hard to imagine an individual unaffected by local politics. Schools, healthcare, roads, and the very people that protect and heal individuals with the community represent just a few that play as connecting points in the reasoning of “relevance.”

Moving beyond these reasons for lack of interest and activity, it is clear that playing some role in local politics is extremely important.

Being aware and active of relevant issues in your community will help it move forward for everyone’s benefit. Some issues need the support and dialogue of the community to decide what may be best, especially in difficult and ignored circumstances.

Politics and Civic Duties

In the politics of the United States, it is important to realize the importance of civic duties. Citizenship is not to be taken lightly.

Politics and the history of the country have allowed citizens to enjoy a number of rights. These rights have extended beyond those in other countries, which is unfortunate to them, but also represents the magnitude of rights shared.

With these rights come responsibilities. These civic responsibilities, often referred to as civic duties, are shared by citizens within the country.

These civic duties are integral to the United States government and the political environment. Citizens are urged to understand their civic duties, as the power of the United States rests in its citizens and in this importance.

Civic duties are found in a handful of obligations, generally. The first is perhaps the least favorite of citizens, paying taxes. While this is certainly one that is not popular, it is necessary for the country.

Voting is another important civic duty. Voting allows the citizens to have a voice for issues and figures in office. It is a right that should not be taken lightly. In the United States, citizens who are 18 are eligible to vote.

Registering for the Selective Service represents another important civic duty. Males at 18 are required to do this, and some choose to become involved in a branch of the military, for various reasons and benefits. Proudly citizens stand behind those who choose to protect the nation.

Serving on a jury, known as jury duty, represents another responsibility for citizens. Citizens may be called to serve on civil or grand juries.

Finally, the broad notion of obeying the law is considered a civic duty. This and the aforementioned duties importantly allow the country to protect, serve, and speak for the citizens and keep its integrity and power.

Recognizing the importance of these civic duties is key. Civic duties are an important aspect to the society within the United States, and the presence of the country within the world.

The Rise or Downfall of Politics?

Politics in society has seen a number of trends in regards to popularity. Is it on the rise or on the downfall within the context of society?

No matter which way you look at it, it is a difficult question. Media has never really wavered from capturing issues within politics from around the world and within communities, but that certainly does not mean that politics plays an integral role in the average citizen’s normal affairs.

From certain viewpoints politics has seen a rise. Campaigns directed towards young people have ignited, provoking young voters to make use of their right to vote. As a result, young voters have provoked some voting statistics that has improved society, at least in regards to improving society’s use of this important civil right.

Technology is another important positive element within politics. Youtube and Facebook are now integral components of politics, which is certainly something that was not anticipated. This allows for increased visibility, resulting in positive things for the state of politics.

Yet, for some reason, if seems as if politics isn’t capturing the attention of more individuals in society. In terms of voting statistics, there are certainly trends that haven’t established one direction, resulting in peaks and valleys that are based not only on interest in politics, but nevertheless indicative of a certain focus on the subject.

A general feeling of indifference is captured in the attitude of some in society. This is unfortunate and may impede the state of politics for years to come, although it may be argued that this occurs in any subject or entity within society.

There are certainly some positives and negatives in the well-being of politics within society. As there is a number of instances in which the bright hope of politics continues, society must fight against those topics that impede its progress.

In time perhaps politics will be seen more emphatically in the lives of those in society. This, after all, is the goal, allowing everyone to make a difference in something that has altered society completely.
